O projektu/Project summary:
Projekt RESIZE si prizadeva identificirati in odgovoriti na spreminjajoče se potrebe po strokovnih kompetencah v zaporniškem/popravnem sektorju po vsej Evropi. S sodelovanjem partnerjev iz več držav EU projekt želi oblikovati evropski okvir kompetenc, razviti poklicne profile in skupaj ustvariti kurikulume, prilagojene popravnemu sektorju.
The RESIZE project aims to identify and respond to the evolving needs for professional competencies within the prison/correctional sector across Europe. By engaging partners from multiple EU countries, the project seeks to design a European competence framework, develop occupational profiles, and co-create curricula tailored to the correctional sector.
Namen/Purpose:
Projekt RESIZE je namenjen preoblikovanju delovanja kazenskih sistemov po vsej Evropi. V svojem bistvu se ta pobuda osredotoča na prilagajanje in izboljšanje spretnosti strokovnjakov, ki delajo v kazenskih ustanovah, s posebnim poudarkom na uskladitvi teh sprememb s pobudo RESCALED. Pobuda RESCALED se zavzema za majhne, v skupnost vključene zavode za prestajanje kazni zapora, ki so zasnovani tako, da bolje služijo posameznikom v pravosodnem sistemu in skupnostim, ki jim pripadajo.
The RESIZE project is dedicated to reshaping correctional systems across Europe. At its core, the initiative focuses on adapting and enhancing the skills of professionals working in correctional institutions, with particular emphasis on aligning these developments with the RESCALED approach. A key inspiration for the project is the RESCALED approach, which promotes smaller, community-based detention facilities. These facilities are designed to better support people within the justice system while also strengthening their connection to the communities they come from.
Cilji/Objectives:
Glavni cilj projekta RESIZE je vzpostaviti nov okvir za kazenske sisteme, ki ne bo le obravnaval trenutnih potreb delovne sile, temveč jih bo tudi pripravil na prihodnost. To vključuje vzpostavitev podpornega okolja (ali ekosistema), v katerem se razvijajo in izvajajo kakovostni programi usposabljanja. Ti programi so zasnovani tako, da zaposlenim v kazenskih ustanovah pomagajo pridobiti veščine, ki jih potrebujejo za uspešno delovanje v spreminjajočem se okolju.
RESIZE seeks to create a modern framework for correctional systems that responds to today’s workforce needs while also preparing for future challenges. This includes the development of a supportive environment (or ecosystem) in which high-quality training programmes are designed and implemented. These programmes aim to equip correctional staff with the competencies required to operate effectively in an evolving professional landscape. Through cooperation with partners across Europe, the project contributes to building more humane, inclusive, and rehabilitation-focused justice systems.
